Intellectual property rights
The MEDports Association advises users of the site that many elements of it:
- are protected by copyright law: This may include photographs, articles, drawings, animated sequences, recordings in digital audio or video format…;
- and/or are protected by the drawing legislation;
In this respect, any reproduction, representation, use, adaptation, modification, incorporation, translation, marketing, partial or integral by any process and on any medium whatsoever (paper, digital, etc.) for any Broadcast worldwide must be subject to prior written permission from the FDBS.

Two types of personal data are collected on the site http://www.medports Association:
- Data entered and sent through the forms
- Data collected by the Google Analytics audience measurement tool
Personal Data Processing Manager
Personal data are collected on the site by the MEDports Association, a non profit organisation headquartered at 23 Place de la Joliette, CS 81965, 13226 MARSEILLE CEDEX 02
Purpose of the collection of personal data
The collection of personal data through the various forms present on the site is intended to:
- Contact people who have left their contact information
- Keep track of people who are interested in our services
By submitting the form and checking the Consent check box, the Internet user expressly agrees that the personal data will be processed for the purpose of managing the customer relationship.
The collection of personal data through the Google Analytics audience tracking tool used on the site is intended to:
- Analyze the behavior of Internet users on the site so that they can measure their audience and improve their performance.
Google Analytics uses third-party cookies to distinguish users. Cookies are text files installed on the Internet user’s terminal. They contain no personal information, only randomly created identifiers.
By browsing the site, the Internet user expressly agrees that the personal data collected by Google Analytics be processed for the purpose of analyzing the behavior of Internet users in order to improve the performance of the Site.
Shelf life of personal data
The data collected through the forms is kept for a period of one year from the date of submission of the form.
The shelf-life of the sent data that is associated with cookies, or user IDs, is 26 months.
Privacy of personal Data
The personal data concerning you and collected by the site https://www.medports.org are solely for the MEDports Association and will only be exploited in the context of the application explained via the form. In no event shall the personal data entered and sent on the forms be transmitted, rented or marketed to third parties. Employees of the MEDports Association have signed a confidentiality agreement which requires them to respect the confidentiality of the data under penalty of sanctions.
Place of personal data storage
The hosting servers of the site are exclusively located in France, within the European Union. The MEDports Association undertakes not to carry out any transfer of personal data to a non-member State of the European Community.
Personal Data security
The site is hosted on secure servers from OVH.
The security level of the OVH hosting provider is certified by ISO standards:
- ISO 27001
- PCI-DSS
- SOC 1 TYPE II & SOC 2 TYPE II
However, no transmission or storage of personal data is ever completely secure. As a result, we cannot guarantee the infallible security of the information transmitted or stored on the hosting servers.
Personal Data PROTECTION Officer
The MEDports Association has set up a data Protection officer (DPO). It is in particular responsible for ensuring the conformity of the Company’s activities with the new European legal framework of the RGPD and for cooperating with the supervisory authority. You can contact him by mail to:
