ETME Committee Professional profiles report
MEDports Association’s Employment, Training and Maritime Expertise (ETME) Committee has been working on the most requested professional profiles in Mediterranean ports. Discover the results!
The ETME Committee launched a survey in 2019.
It covered 4 domains:
- Port management
- IT
- Environment and city port
- Port construction
- Security and safety
The survey has been answered by 14 Port Authorities + 50 trainees from the Arab Academy of Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (Egypt).
Focus has been made on the future professional profiles and areas of expertise not covered by training institutes today.
Seven profiles were highlighted as very relevant by participants.
