Explosions in the Port of Beirut

On August 4th, two explosions took place in the facilities of the Port of Beirut.

According to Lebanon authorities, the two explosions may have been caused by an incident of a cargo of 2,750 tons of ammonium nitrate that was in a warehouse of the port. The blast killed more than 78 people and injured 3,700 people.
